Very nice and VERY RARE 1956 DeSoto Firedome Seville 2 door hardtop sport coupe (no center post when you roll down the windows). This car is very stock and original looking, NOT a modified hot rod. Very stylish 50's car! Very solid throughout! It was painted one time over 20 years ago, still looks great and holds a nice shine! Engine and transmission are very strong. Features a 331 Cubic Inch Hemi V8 and 'Powerflite' push button drive automatic transmission. Interior is excellent! Recently driven on a 2 hour trip in 85 degree weather at interstate speeds with no issues! Very strong and drives nice. All original under hood, not modified. This is a very rare model that was only made for 6 months as GM sued Chrysler over using the name Seville. GM had the rights and \was using that name on Cadillacs. DeSotos from the Virgil Exner 'Forward Look' era are hard to find to begin with. This one is doubly rare! When is the last time you ever saw one? Classic 1950's colors of pink and black, too!
