The long straight rear fins make the 57 Chevy BelAir one of the most recognizable and sought after cars in automotive history. The BelAir was Chevrolet's flagship in 1957 symbolized by its gold badging. The flagship status was turned over to the Impala in 1958.This beautiful BelAir has undergone an impeccable restoration over ten years ago. Today, it looks as though it was restored yesterday. The factory Matador Red paint is literally gleaming over a completely rust free and pin straight body. Every piece of trim and chrome have been either refinished or replaced. There is not a single mark on any part or piece of the exterior of this car. The factory original 283ci DUAL QUAD engine puts out 270HP. The engine has been completely rebuilt from the bottom up. The odometer reads 1646 miles which was reset to zero after the rebuild and is virtually brand new. She starts, runs and drives beautifully & without issue.The interior is as good as new. It was restored to the exact specs of the original. Everything works as intended including all gauges, speedometer, heater and clock. The radio is an aftermarket AM-FM stereo system and works perfectly. Two rear speakers have been added to the original front dash speaker and they all work. The time and detail put into this interior is incredible. Seating has been re-bolstered and refinished to absolute perfection. Seatbelts have been added for safety. All lighting inside and out including the optional backup lights work as they should as does the horn. The undercarriage is equally as remarkable as the rest of this car.
