1963 Plymouth Sport Fury in Michigan ID-114906

1963 Plymouth Sport Fury for sale in Michigan (ID-114906)
1963 Plymouth Sport Fury 440 RB block bored 30 over, engine is out of a '67 Imperial, 850 Holley Double Pumper, Edelbrock Torker II intake, Headman headers, narrowed rear end with mopar 8 3/4 Moser axles and 4:10 gears. 33x16.5r15 M/T rear wheels, tubbed wheel wells, 727 auto trans with manual valve body, push button shifter no clutch. New Double D steering shaft, new gear box, Mopar gear reduction starter, 6-pt roll cage, 5-way Simpson racing seat belt harness's, after market gauges. Engine was rebuilt from the block up. Direct connection 509 Crane Cam, 906 heads, rocker ratio set at 6:1 with pocket porting, 3 angle valve job. Deep sump oil pan and high volume oil pump. Good paint, good interior, added a electric BMW radiator fan, almost everything nos, many extra parts, too many to list. Gorgeous car, a head turner for sure. Negatives that I can see (I'm not a mechanic or an electrician) are: still play in the steering wheel, may need idler/pit-man arm? No up and down or side to side movement to speak of when testing front wheels jacked up off the ground. Corroded wires/contacts, even though I cleaned many up. All lights work except left turn signal and 2 dash lights no reverse lights hooked up to trans and no horn. Rear wheels are too big even for tubbed wheel wells + spacers. Rolling the fenders helped and its much better but still rubs during sharp turns. Front tire occasionally rubs on header, not too bad now after readjusting torsion bars and new shackles on leaf springs. Only during a real sharp turn it might rub. No a/c, no radio, no heater/defrost, or back seats and a definite gas hog. Trunk was cut and welded at some point, no rust but marginal welding job. Some surface rust on ft. brake calipers but none anywhere else on car. The guy I bought it from built it to race but never did race it. I have a whole briefcase of receipts for pretty much the entire engine rebuild. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our clients homeBody Style: CoupeDoors: 2
