1966 GMC 1000 V8 Fenderside 1/2 ton short bed Assembled at the Fremont, California GM plant, (which currently builds Teslas), and purchased new at the GMC dealer in Blythe, California, September 20, 1965. Truck was in Blythe with original owner for 46 years until 8/4/11, then going to the second owner in Riverside, California until now. Original Owner's Manual and Documented Warranty Book included. Delivered with a 305 V6, the original flags are still on the hood sides. The 305 was replaced in Riverside with a built 305 V8. Stock 3 speed column shift and rear end remain and work fine. 305 V8, mild cam, high compression pistons, roller timing chain, high volume oil pump, high rise Edlebrock intake manifold, Holley 600 double pumper, Ram's horn exhaust manifolds, 3 inch stainless steel exhaust. Power disk brakes, 1973 C10 steering box and pump. 4 almost new Michelin Lt tires. New windshield and gasket. Original GM keys work the door lock and ignition. Tool box with gas tank under. This is a driver with March 2018 tags. Original upholstery is under the seat covers.
