1967 Pontiac GTO For Sale True RAM AIR Matching Numbers Engine & Drive Train 1 of 751 Ram Air GTOs made in 1967 / 1 of 136 Automatics Only 46,600 actual miles!!!FMC is proud to offer this very rare collectors grade GTO up for sale. This very special GTO may be the only one you will see in a life time. To start, the condition of this GTO is nothing less than MINT. It was completely restored and the engine was rebuilt back in 2005. It has been kept in a heated garage and used sparingly since then. Today, it looks as good as new! The paint was refinished in its original factory color of Gulf Turquoise. All body panels and floors are completely original. All chrome and trim are absolutely beautiful. The interior is also original with the exception of the carpet. The interior is in exceptional condition. There are no seat tares or dash cracks. All gauges are crystal clear and work properly including the clock. The factory Dual Gate shifter is a rare option on a GTO for this year. It has power steering and non- power 4-wheel drum brakes as it came from factory. Other options include the Custom Sport steering wheel, 14? Red Wide-Oval tires, Safe-T Track rear axle and a working AM radio with Verba-Phone & rear speaker (a very strange option choice for an AM radio but there it is) Now, lets get to the good stuff.... This Extremely Rare & Amazing Power Plant!This extremely rare 400ci 360hp (XP code) Ram Air engine and transmission is one of just 751 produced in 1967. In addition, the rarely seen Dual Gate shifter mated to the Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission was bolted to the factory ZL code 4:33 Safe-T-Track rear. Wow!!! No one can say exactly how many of the original 751 Ram Air 67's were fitted with the ZL code 4:33 rear. Certainly, the number cant be more than a very limited few not to mention that even fewer would still exist today as most were likely blown to bits from drag racing back in the day. The original Rochester 4bbl carburetor and Delco Alternator are still on this car. Their ID numbers are shown in the photos. Original T-3 headlights are still on the car as well. NOTE: Currently, 3:55 gears have been installed in this GTO making it far more street worthy than the original 4:33 racing gears however, the original 4:33 gears will be included in the sale at no additional cost. This 46600 actual mile collectors classic comes complete with its original Protecto-Plate, the original Broadcast Sheet and Inspection Sheet, the original Window Sticker, original Owners Manual and PHS documentation.
