Well, That's Exactly What Was Done Here! This Camaro Has Nothing But Quality Parts Used In It's Restoration. For starters, The Engine was Purchased from Smeding Performance, and it's their Extreme 383-450hp. Which has a 4340 Steel Crank, HD H-Beam Rods, Forged Pistons, Alum. Heads, and a Hyd. Roller Cam. Yes, We have the Dyno Sheet to PROVE the 450 Horsepower. A Complete TREMEC TKO 600 5-Speed Transmission kit was Bought. Then, To Hold All the Horsepower, A Custom Built 9-Inch Ford Rear End was Bought From Quick Performance, which has 31 Spline Axles, and A HD Hardened Yoke, and HD Spicer U-Joints. To Tie the Underneath and Body All Together, Detroit Speed Full-Frame Connectors were Purchased and Installed. These Are Not Your Average Bolt-In Frame Connectors. This Kit Requires you to pull out the Interior, Mark the Pattern, and Weld them into the Floors, and then Also Bolt these Frame Connectors In. They Keep The Body From Flexing and Make The Camaro Handle Like a Full-Frame Muscle Car Should. The Drive Shaft was Purchased from Classic Motorsports Group, and is Heavy Duty Also. The Exhaust Flows Thru A Ceramic Coated Set of Dougs Headers, then runs into 2 1/2 inch Pipes, and Finally thru A Set of Flowmaster Mufflers. The Complete Wiring Harness was purchased from American Auto Wire. Vintage Heat and A/C was bought, along with a Front Runner Serpentine Belt Pulley System. A Be-Cool Alum. Radiator and Matching Electric Fan Was purchased to Keep this Beast Running Cool in Traffic, Even With the A/C On! Stopping this Beast Is No Problem, Thanks to the Power 4-Wheel Disc Brakes! To Make This Camaro Handle Even Better, A Complete Detroit Speed Performance & Handling Kit was purchased, which included Tubular A-Arms, Heavy Duty Sway Bars, HD Coil Springs, and Spindles, and Custom Rear Coil Springs. Plus A Detroit Speed 20 Piece Body Mount Kit was Also purchased and Installed. To Top Things OFF, Four Street Performance Koni Shocks were Ordered and Installed. MSD Ignition Was Bought to Provide Plenty of Fire For This Awesome Engine. Now, To the Interior... A Full Covan Dash Kit with Aftermarket Gauges was purchased, and A Retro Sound System, with AM-FM USB, and MPS was installed. New Front Bucket Reclining Seats with Should Harness Seat Belts Were Purchased From TMI Interiors. New Dash Pad, Door Panels, Kick Panels, Headliner, Package Tray, Carpet, and Pillar Post were Also Bought and Installed. Even the Glass and Regulators were Purchased New and Installed, along with the Felts and Rubbers. Billet Specialties Gas, Brake, and Clutch Pedals were also Bought and Installed. A Billet Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel was purchased from LeCarra and installed. NOW, To The Exterior.. This Camaro was Taken Apart and Painted with PPG Base Coat Clear Coat Code RR Matador Red. (Which Was It's Original Color) It was then sanded and buffed to a Mirror Finish. It Cost Over $9,350.00 to Paint, and the receipt is there to Prove it. Man, is This One Super Straight and Slick Camaro. New Locks, Latches, Hinges, Handles, Grill, Bumpers, Emblems, Lights, Lens, Trim, etc. etc. was All Ordered New and Installed. LOKAR Dip Sticks ,Cables, and Emergency Brake Kit was Also Purchased and Installed. A Precision Coach Works Billet Gas Cap and Core Support Braces were Purchased and Installed. The LED Tail Lights were Bought From Camaro Central and Look Great. New Cowl Hood and Rear Spoiler were Also Purchased From Camaro Central. Brand New Billet Specialties Wheels, along with Performance Tires, were Ordered and Put on this Camaro, To Give It the Awesome Look and Stance that It Has.
