MGB For Sale Fully Restored, New Body, dipped in zinc , new brakes, tires , Dayton knock off wire wheels and new paint taken down to bare metal. Electric Overdrive make this MG very desirable.. This vehicle was purchased as a long term classic/ antique restoration hobby project in 1988. Although the car was a good driver , it was know at the onset that the body was beyond all hope of repair. A brand new all steel , zinc dipped, oem specked body/ chassis was purchased from Victoria British Ltd. During the initial restoration phase, all running gear parts were removed from the donor vehicle, thoroughly cleaned, inspected, repaired or replaced as needed and installed on the new chassis at an approximate cost of $6,311 includes chassis, windshield, engine, su carburetor parts/ kits, water pump, fuel pump , alternator, clutch master and slave cylinders, cockpit surround, wheel cylinder, ignition plug wires, distributor which is electronic, new exhaust system,The cockpit tonneau cover and short rear tonneau are in like new condition... This car was prepared for a long term storage in 01/2008 and has not been started or driven since. At that time it did not burn or leak any appreciable amounts of oil or fluids from engine, transmission or differential. Further, all lights, gages and accessories were in working order. Body is very tight and has only 1892 miles on it, it has always been garage kept and never driven in rain. There is absolutely no rust period. Fantastic Condition!! FSBO, Located in Blythewood, SC
