1969 Formal Roof Torino Cobra restoration project. This 428 Cobra Jet coupe is currently powered with a 410 Mercury Motor with C8AE H heads. This high powered factory race car was equipped with all the performance pieces. You will find this Big Block with the rock crusher big shaft toploader 4 speed and power disc brakes. You will find the 9 inch Nodular 31 spline rear is undisturbed so totally stock. A very low production unit with great colors this Cobra Jet car is priced right to get you in the CJ game but will need lots of love. This is a real deal 428 CJ car with a R code designation is accompanied with the durable 1 3/8 big input and 31 spline rock crusher toploader 4 speed transmission. Ford built with these with the extra strong big sway bar and a 9 Inch Nodular Rear End and GT Suspension. Also equipped with the sure stopping Power assisted Disc Brakes are a set of GT wheels the optional wheels . The exterior continues with The GT package including the hood scoop, tail light panel with trim GT badge. Being loaded the interior is also dressed with bucket seats and a AM Radio. This desirable classic is in need of a complete rebuild. Rust has taken its toll from sitting so definitely a plus for the new owner who has bodywork skills. Expect you will need lots of attention in this mechanical rebuild even though its all there it does not run. The factory 11 inch clutch is behind the C6OA bell housing attaches the factory big shaft 4 speed transmission. It is offered is stock with the large drive shaft which connects to the heavy duty 9 inch stock rear. Note : We are awaiting a Marti report on this Cora Torino You'll find the interior is pretty much all there with buckets and is in fair condition although it too will need attention or replacement to be brought back to life for the customer who wants to start cheap and save.
