1969 International Scout 800 304ci V8 and 3-speed transmission. 72,000 miles, clean MN title. Runs and drives great. Color change from red to beige. New exhaust system, front and rear brakes, shocks, tires, fuel tanks. New Holley carburetor with electric choke, aluminum radiator, alternator, brake booster New Corbeau seats, seat belts, carpet, steering wheel, steel center console, door panels, sun visors. The fuel and amp gauges should to be rebuilt or replaced. Brake lights need new wiring. 53 year old cars always need something, but all the major items have been addressed and this is a great car. V8 powered, first gen Scouts are not common and these cars are becoming a great investment. This one attracts a crowd wherever I park. We’re sorry to have to sell, but we are retiring and have moved into a smaller home with limited garage space. A great little first generation Scout 800 with a 304ci V8 and 3-speed transmission. 72,000 miles and a clean MN title. Runs and drives great, it’s tight and rattle free. I purchased someone else’s project and made several upgrades. The color was changed from it’s original red, to an International beige. The body is very solid, there is a bit of surface rust on the outer driver side floor. As you can see from the underside photos, the inner quarters are rust free, as is the bed floor, tunnel, passenger side floor and rockers. I replaced the front and rear windshield seals and the rear window is new. Underneath is a new, complete exhaust system, new front and rear brakes, new shocks and new tires. I also replaced both fuel tanks with new poly fuel cells. Both tanks are fully installed and functioning with a new selection valve. I’m currently only running the passenger side tank. Under the hood, I installed a new Holley carburetor with electric choke, new high flow aluminum radiator and new alternator.
