1970 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Great running and very fast 1970 Firebird Trans Am Clone. Have spent a lot of time on this car and it runs like a champ. The entire drivetrain has been redone, it has been very reliable to me, and the sound of it turns heads everywhere I go. The engine and rear end gear combo allows for very quick take offs. Great hot rod if your looking for a real street machine. The car only has 70,000 miles on the chassis and the drivetrain is practically brand new with less than 2000 miles on the engine, transmission. and rear end. This car has: A Hutchison Racing built 428ci 550 Horsepower Engine - 1970 Ram air IV GTO cylinder heads - a ported Edelbrock RPM Performer intake manifold with a Holly 750 double pumper on top with a phenolic intake spacer - Ram Air IV factory camshaft. MSD distributor and coil. The motor is built to handle up to 800hp. Runs on Amsoil motor oil and has been properly serviced. Turbo 400 Transmission with a 2900 stall converter, and a transmission cooler - A rebuilt 12 bolt Posi-Trac Easton rear end with 3.91 gear ratio - A shift kit with a Sidewinder 'cant miss a shift' slap stick gear shifter. Has an aftermarket all aluminum radiator with dual fans, Holley 750 Electric fuel pump and regulator, and a REAL shaker hood. All the hard work has been to make this thing a very sound and fun car to drive. No mechanical issues. ONLY flaws are some minor body imperfections, going to need a paint job eventually, and could use a little interior work.
