1972 Chevrolet Nova Why This Car Is Special The Chevrolet Chevy II/Nova was a small automobile manufactured by Chevrolet, and produced in five generations for the 1962 through 1979, and 1985 through 1988 model years. Nova becoming the nameplate for the 1969 through 1979 models. The 1972 Nova received only minor trim changes. Interior The interior is set off with black split bench seat up front and matching rear sea, door panels, headliner, and carpeting. The factory dash has cool all the stock gauges and controls, a column shifter, the factory four spoke steering wheel, and Nova floor mats. Exterior The 1972 Nova body is painted in gold with the Rally Nova sports stripes on the sides.
