1980 BMW 633CSi Hot Rod Uncompleted Project Car: very clean, straight and original 1980 BMW 633CSi with Ford 302 high performance engine / automatic transmission. This car is a hot rod project started by my father that he was never able to finish for health reasons. The original engine and transmission were removed and are gone - now has custom motor and trans mounts fabricated for the Ford engine. The steering was updated to a modern rack and pinion and the brakes were updated with a modern vacuum booster. The engine that he chose was a Ford 302 with a matching automatic transmission - the engine and transmission were bolted in at one point as was the radiator and all wiring / hoses - it is all in place and ready to go. The engine has polished aluminum water pump, valve covers, intake manifold, alternator, A/C compressor, all pulleys and March Performance serpentine belt system - great looking hot rod engine. The engine was removed to be re-built by Blue Print engines and was just finished and sent back to Reno this month - I picked it up this month at FedEx and it is still in the crate sitting next to the car - ready to be installed. I talked to the engine builder and they told me that the engine has a warranty and that it has been run on a dyno for 30+ minutes. The car is as shown in the photos - currently doesn't have the engine installed - it is ready to be assembled.
