This unique Mercedes-Benz 380SL is the pinnacle of the era’s classic, luxury design combined with modern technology. The R107 SL generation, produced from 1971 until 1989, was engineered to an impressively high standard by Mercedes, giving us this iconic car that has matured and improved throughout its 42-year lifespan. Part of this was simply how Mercedes-Benz engineered cars at the time, designed to cruise in comfort, power and style; and also because the R107 had to improve upon the previously notably successful R113 model and entice Mercedes’ affluent clientele. Little wonder it became nicknamed the ‘Panzerwagen’ during its pre-launch development.

This vehicle is accident-free (apart from one minor fender hit to our other vehicle in 2018 with no damage to this one), has been consistently maintained to a high standard and garage-kept throughout. The current (3rd) owner has invested over CAD$15,000 in quality refurbishment by a certified Mercedes mechanic of the era, and in 2014 also converted the timing to dual chain drive, increasing safety and performance. It is in excellent running condition with no rust. A truly beautiful vehicle. Selling because of relocation.

All maintenance records & receipts are available from 2014 onward, and most records from the previous owners as well.
