1983 Porsche 944 bought it this year from the original owner who had it for 36 years and 118k miles. Have since put about 1000 miles on it and fixed a lot of things. Work done by Motorsports (have receipt): -Changed timing belt -Changed balance shaft belt -Changed water pump -Changed pulleys -Flushed coolant -Replaced some coolant hoses -Changed trans/diff fluid (Redline MT-90 GL-4) -Changed spark plugs Work done by me: -Replaced hood struts -Replaced rear hatch struts -Adjusted clutch pedal -Fixed shift linkage slop w/ thrust bearings -New (used) steering wheel (still have original, wrap stitching disintegrated) -Cleaned most electrical grounds -Cleaned tail light terminals/replaced tail lights with LEDs to make them brighter -New DME relay -Cleaned out sunroof/rear hatch drain dubes -Changed oil with Valvoline VR1 20W-50 (used Mahle filter) -Changed PS fluid -Installed throttle body cam -New front tires -Welded in new muffler (Thrush welded 17651) -Replaced rear driver's side caliper -Replaced rear brake pads/caliper pins The bad/work needed: -Two rust spots (1 per side behind each of the front tires, but whole fender piece can be purchased and just replaced) -AC doesn't work -Power steering pulley (mounted to crank pulley) is a little bent but functions fine -Rear speakers only work sometimes -Passenger window switch only works sometimes (can still operate passenger window from driver's side switch) -Needs a timing belt retension soon, within the next 500 or so miles. Additionally, the PO did the clutch. Also have a bunch of goodies.
