1985 Buick Regal – Big Block 454 / Built Drivetrain – Street & Strip Style 1985 Buick Regal built to run hard. This is a serious performance build, not a highway cruiser. The engine is believed to be a 1970s-era 454 big block, completely rebuilt with very few miles. Performance & Drivetrain: Rebuilt 454ci V8 (very low miles) Strong powerband, likes to shift around 5,800 RPM Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission (fresh rebuild, performance-built) Rear end believed to be from a Grand National 3.73 gears with Posi Driving Notes: Street drivable, but not ideal for highway use Turns approx. 3,500 RPM at 65 MPH Built for acceleration and hard pulls With wider rear tires, the car has no problem lifting the front end Condition: Paint presents well and looks good on the road Interior needs work Runs strong and is a blast to drive Would benefit from additional detailing and finishing This Regal has been a lot of fun and is best suited for someone looking for a raw, aggressive street/strip-style car with serious power and attitude.
