1985 Jeep CJ7 An almost total restoration was done, the engine and transmission were not disassembled because they are in perfect condition,Only was remplace the Timing chain,Harmonic balancer, water pump, and belts The clutch assembly was changed by the previous owner, it is excellent. Brakes were reviewed, changing pads, and new fluids, The body was removed from the chassis, it was repaired and painted with the original color.The crown was changed and the windshield frame too….NO RUST!!!! Inside have Raptor bed protector Body bottom undercoating protector paint The frame and suspension were cleaned and painted, the brake and fuel lines were removed, cleaned and replaced. The fuel tank was cleaned and the send unit and filler hoses were changed. The 4 shock absorbers are new Rought Country, the suspension bushings are new Energy and the body mounts too. All the bearings were checked. The steering damper is not new. The clock and tachometer have been replaced, the other instruments are original, only the dashboard signals have been changed. The electrical installation has been completely removed, inspected, repaired and reinstalled. The steering column was completely rebuilt. The seats have the original upholstery and covers. The JEEP has three roofs 1- The rigid one was painted and new weather stripping was installed. 2- The new vinyl roof in a newly installed box. (BesTop) 3- The one that covers the driver and passenger part with the rear part, new, never used. The windshield frame and glass are new. Have new windshield motor and links .The four wheels Discover Galooper 35x12,5-15 Mud Terrain in new Pro Com rims 15x10” NEW!!!!!!), Have differential locks and differential ratio to use size 35' wheels. Warn bumpers were installed, and a Warn 9000i winch. It has many newer parts, I have the detailed photos from when the restoration began until it was finished. It has an incredible ride, smooth, serene and has incredible strength, the 4x4 is like a tractor.
