1986 PORSCHE 911 SC / 959 Faithful 959 Gruppe B Rallye replica. Car was built around a 1985 Carrera donor car (VIN No.WP0AB911FS20672) that came from Manchester, Tennessee (Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee titled). The 959 components are fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) and manufactured by Getty Engineering & Design in California (www.gettydesign.com). Getty is a very reputable company that has been in business for over 28 years and is a innovative leader in aftermarket Porsche body components.The car was built in Birmingham, Alabama and I purchased it shortly after completion from the builder on September 25, 1994. I drove the car daily until around March, 2006 and has been in dry storage since. I have all of the maintenance and repair records since September, 1994 and have invested over $22,000 in maintenance and improvements. All of the maintenance & repair was performed by Auto Europe in Atlanta. At date of purchase the odometer reading was 21,420 miles and as of this date is 51,000 plus. I will only verify the mileage from 21,420 to current mileage. A minor rebuild of the engine was performed at 48,321 miles and the brakes were replaced at 50,713 miles. Wheels are BBS (I believe) with Michelin rubber. All tires need to be replaced (see more below). The FPR to steel grafting is excellent with no separation between materials. The body has no damage and the paint is Guards Red and is in fair condition. The driver's side has some minor scratches. The engine is BAE turbocharged with five speed transaxle. A new battery is needed. The interior is in good condition with leather door panels and cloth seats and has twin turbo gages (only one connected).
