1987 Buick Regal Turbo-T – Rare, Well-Documented Example This 1987 Buick Regal Turbo-T is a strong, well-documented car with a clean history and thoughtful ownership throughout its life. Originally delivered in New Jersey, it moved to Virginia in 2007, where the engine was rebuilt shortly after acquisition at just over 101k miles. Service records confirm mileage through a 2007 Virginia inspection (101,239 mi) and transmission work in 2015 (101,520 mi). Originally finished in black, the car was repainted in the 1990s with a flip-flop color-changing finish. In 2019, it was stripped and refinished in Black/Black Cherry, a rich color borrowed from the 1996 Impala SS. The car was reassembled and returned to the road in 2020. During its first drive, a rocker shaft (the lone component not refreshed in the prior rebuild) failed, prompting a full correction in 2021 along with detailing of the engine bay.
