1988 Porsche 911 Carrera 25th Commemorative Edition Diamond Blue G50 Rare Offered in 1988 to celebrate 25 years of the Porsche 911 as well as the 250,000th model produced, the Carrera Commemorative Edition features special and very rare Diamond Blue Metallic paint and leather, and signatures of Dr. Ferdinand Porsche embroidered on the headrests.The cabin features special matching blue leather upholstery with silver-blue silk velour carpeting and supple leather seats with “F.Porsche” signatures embroidered on the headrests. The Commemorative Edition also receives a specialized dash badge and short-throw gear shift lever. This particular car is a 2 owner car is has very detailed maintain records dating back to new. The second owner purchased this car in 2004 and drove it every day. He took very good care of it and maintained it very well. It has 150 page file of detailed records of everything done. Annual services, valve adjustments, clutch changes, top end rebuild, and much more. This car drives great the gear box is perfect. Car pulls very strong and it also remains extremely original. Tires are from 2019 and in great shape. The main things that need attention are the sunroof headliner needs to be done and the weather stripping around the sunroof needs to be done. Also the driver seat needs reupholstery but I like the originality so letting the new owner decide. The paint is great on the car besides for a couple very small bubbles that I have pictures of. This 911 remains with its original 3.2l engine and its original sought after g50 5-Speed transmission. The g50 transmission came out on the 911 in 1987.
