1989 Dodge Ram D100 4 X 4 Pickup Mechanically: 318, with a completely rebuilt 727 including a nice shift kit. The tranny rebuild included tearing the transfer case apart, checking it, cleaning all parts,installing new gaskets, and putting everything all back together. ($2200) just for the transmission rebuild with receipts. Also, brand new 31 x 10.50 Wrangler Kevlars ($1400) that give this thing an incredible stance and an unbelievable ride for big tires. They are quiet and smooth. The 4wd works perfect and has hardly ever been used! Not sure whether the AC will work or not as I never tried charging it. The flowmaster dual exhaust has a nice roar even with a small factory low compression engine. Just took it on a 300 mile trip yesterday! Chicken neckers everywhere! Beautiful Truck. Aesthetcally: The paint is about 10 years old, still looks great but not perfect. There are minor chips in the paint on both sides below the trim caused by gravel or other things flying up and hitting them over the years. The body on this truck is in great shape with all factory sheet metal (NO BONDO ANYWHERE) and NO rust except one tiny spot over the passenger side rear wheel well, smaller than my pinkie and just on the surface. Brand new carpet (250.00), the original dash is literally perfect with no cracks and no dry rotting. The lower half drivers side of the seat will need recovered.
