Description
1969 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible RT Tribute – Extremely Rare – Only ~1,500 Built – 25k Original Miles This is a very rare 1969 Dodge Coronet Convertible, one of roughly 1,500 produced, and an exceptional survivor. It has been garage‑kept in a heated building, stored on a lift in winter, and only driven on nice days. This car has been loved, preserved, and owned “almost forever.” It has won many trophies at car shows, and it shows — the car looks fantastic, runs great, and everything works as it should.
Drivetrain & Mechanical • Matching‑numbers 318 V8 • Automatic transmission • Runs and drives excellent • Always maintained and kept road‑ready • Passed inspection with no issues Mileage & Originality • True 25,000 original miles • Not restored — original survivor • Interior is all original with no rips or tears • Power convertible top is in excellent condition Exterior & Condition • Paint is really, really nice — glossy, clean, and well‑kept • No dents; may have a few small chips from normal use • Always stored indoors, never driven in the rain • Chrome, trim, and glass all present beautifully Ownership & Care • Long‑term ownership • Heated garage storage • Winter‑stored on a lift • Used only on fair‑weather days • Everything works properly Overall This Coronet Convertible is a beautiful, rare Mopar that has been cherished its entire life. Survivor convertibles with matching numbers, low miles, and this level of care almost never come up for sale. It’s trophy‑winning, reliable, and ready for its next caretaker.

Dodge Coronet Buyer's Guide (1965–1976)
People focus on the Charger and overlook the Coronet, which has kept prices more reasonable for longer than they should have stayed. The platform is identical — same frame, same suspension geometry, same engine bay that accepts everything from a 318 two-barrel to a 426 Hemi. The Super Bee was literally a Coronet with a performance package, and it was built that way because Dodge needed a budget muscle car to compete with the Plymouth Road Runner. That packaging decision created one of the best values in Mopar collecting. I've seen well-documented Super Bee Coronets sell for half what a comparable Charger would bring. That gap has been closing, but it's still real.
