Description
1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe. The reason I want to sale it is that I found a 40 Ford Conv I want. I bought this car in Oregon and its no problem to go to AAA to registered it. I have the Vin verified on it. This is a great car with all the extras.
Beautiful Bright Red with beautiful cream color interior, the finish of it is great. All the fitting of the doors, hood, trunk, and Stainless trim are great. Everything lines up like they should. No fiberglass parts on this fine car.
Power windows, electric wipers. Tilt wheel, nice stereo. Halogen Bulbs in Taillights and Headlights. After doing a little more research it's running a engine code# MO611 that shows its a 1968 Camaro Z-28 302 and has aluminum GM Hi Performance vortex heads and GM aluminum vortex intake, nice cam, Holley carb with all the chrome goodies and 350 turbo tranny with shift kit. 9' ford posi rear end, its geared a little low for me but is very spunky.
Motor alone is probably worth well over 20k. It has Mustang 2 IFS with disc brakes front and drum brakes on rear. Stops great. Under the car is very clean. Vintage Air Conditioner & Heat, ac blows very cold, the car runs nice and cool.
Mileage is 15009 as shown but the speedo is a little off. I think the true mileage is around 12,000 miles. Has Halibrand rims with new tires around 400 miles on them. Has a original 40 ford stop light on it.
Very cool. I would not be afraid to drive this anywhere. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our clients home and Not In Cadillac, Michigan. **We do have a showroom with about 25 cars that is by appointment only **Please Call First and talk to one of our reps at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 **

Classic Ford Deluxe Buyer's Guide (1935–1940)
Few cars shaped American car culture as completely as the prewar Ford Deluxe. Between 1935 and 1940, Ford built millions of V8-powered coupes, sedans, and convertibles that were affordable enough for everyday buyers and fast enough to embarrass far more expensive competition. Today those same cars anchor show fields from Goodguys to GNRS, get chopped and channeled into kustoms, or sit glass-encased as factory-stock survivors. The market is broad, the parts supply is deep, and the prices — if you know where to look — can still be surprisingly reasonable. But the buying traps are just as broad. Here's what I've learned buying and building them for thirty years.
