Description
**1967 Chevrolet Camaro – Mid-Build Drag Machine**
This all-steel Camaro is a serious drag platform in progress. Factory sheet metal work was completed on the rear end to accommodate the wide tire package—all tires still have original stickers, never been run. The car is equipped with a built 632 cubic-inch Brodix big-block from HBR Engines producing just under 1200 horsepower and 1000 foot-pounds of torque per dyno sheet.
Backing it is an FTI 2-speed racing transmission with a torque converter and B&M Pro Bandit shifter for automatic or manual operation; the transmission has only three runs on it. A 4-link rear suspension with strange housing and 488 gears, plus a complete Wildwood disc brake system, round out the chassis work. The project was put on hold five years ago during the final assembly stage.
Rods were removed following dyno testing and remain out. The engine is complete, but ignition system, fuel system, battery, and exhaust require installation—all components are on hand and ready. The engine is regularly turned over monthly.
This is an honest, unfinished 7.5-to-8-second potential once completed. Dusty from garage storage but solid and all original steel.

Classic Chevrolet Camaro Buyer's Guide
The Chevrolet Camaro launched in September 1966 as Chevy's direct response to the Ford Mustang, and for over five decades it has defined American performance for an entire generation of enthusiasts. Whether you're hunting a numbers-matching first-generation Z/28, a survivor split-bumper second-gen, or a clean third-gen IROC-Z, the Camaro buyer's market is deep, varied, and full of pitfalls for the unprepared.
