Description
This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle represents serious Pro Street intent with a tunnel ram 454 big block commanding close to 500 horsepower. The engine is impressively sorted: bored 30 over with Speed Pro pistons, 10:1 compression, roller rockers, a 550-lift cam with 1.08 lobe separation, and a Milodon oil pump. Everything runs on pump gas and the car has covered less than 100 miles since completion.
All-metal bodywork with zero Bondo, diamond-tucked interior details, a roll cage, tubbed rear, and Recaro racing seats define the cabin. The Chevelle combines period-correct Pro Street aesthetics with genuine mechanical substance: factory air conditioning, new serpentine belt system, front disc and rear drum brakes, GM 4-speed close-ratio transmission with a 12-bolt rear and 4:11 gears, and a Rockford Fosgate stereo. This isn't a true SS but wears the clone look convincingly.
Build sheet on file. A real street machine ready to perform.

Classic Chevrolet Chevelle Buyer's Guide
The Chevrolet Chevelle launched in 1964 as Chevrolet's mid-size A-body entry, and within two years it had become the foundation of one of the most successful muscle-car lineages in American automotive history. The 1970 LS6 SS454 Chevelle remains the high-water mark of factory muscle-car horsepower from the entire era — a rating of 450 horsepower from a stock 454 that put GM's Chevelle definitively at the top of the 1970 muscle-car hierarchy. Across fourteen model years (1964-1977), the Chevelle market is one of the deepest and most active segments in the entire American collector hobby — with documented original SS454 cars commanding six-figure money and clean driver-quality cars remaining attainable. This guide covers what every buyer should verify before paying premium money for any Chevelle SS variant.
