Description
1977 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe Summary: Fantastic viper red Corvette with flat rear window and black accents with new chrome rims and tires. Full paint correction and ceramic coating and top end engine rebuild with some performance mods and all maintenance completed. In great running condition with top end rebuild.
The engine is an original L48, but engine has been built up to L82 HP level of a little more (no dyno). If I had to guess, HP is around 230 to 250, torque closer to 300 ft/lb Interior - 9/10, no cracks Paint - 9/10, a few chips here and there Wheels 10/10 Paint has had a full one, partially two step paint correction to buff out swirls and a 6 year ceramic coating. Paint is roughly 10 years old but pretty well done, not done by an amateur and this reflects in person.
Performance Upgrades (11k miles) Edelbrock carb Edelbrock intake Edelbrock performer cam (L82 or better) Cat delete High flow side pipes New larger aluminum radiator Gear drive timing Great tune - runs great, no issues with starting New brake calipers, rotors, pads, some new brake lines New rear lowering bolts New All new fluids New battery New shocks all around New speakers New led headlights, taillights, interior High beams work great with new lights, usually can't see with stock ones New taillight housing Everything works excellent except two items: Driver electric window works but needs a little help at the top Speedometer Comes with: Fitted car cover T-top bags T-top rear straps for rack Spare original engine and misc parts Smiles per gallon! Classic Chevrolet Corvette Buyer's Guide
The Chevrolet Corvette has been America's sports car for over seventy years, but the classic Corvette market splits into three distinct generations, each with its own buyer profile and its own pitfalls. The C1 (1953-1962), C2 mid-year (1963-1967), and C3 shark (1968-1982) cover three decades of evolution from solid-axle straight-six convertibles to small-block legends to LT-1-powered chrome-bumper cars. Knowing which Corvette is yours — and what it actually is versus what the seller claims — is the difference between a sound investment and an expensive lesson.
