1940 Buick Converted into a Luxury Street Rod -Along with being a rare car, this car has also chauffeured some famous people. The car has never been hit, and never had any rust. It rides as smooth as any new car on the road today. It is all GM, from the 455 Buick engine, to the 400 turbo trans, to the Nova rear. Naturally a luxury car like this can be driven with the top down or leave it up and turn on the air conditioning. To help make the driving comfortable, it has a FatMan front end with power disc brakes, and power steering. In the cabin it has tilt wheel, cruise control, naugahyde upholstery, and plenty of room for the family. The instrumentation is all restored and all operational. The paint and chrome are excellent. At some point in time you must say it is time to give it up and let some one else enjoy it. If you want a nice car that draws a crowd, and doesn't look like everything else in the show, then this is the car for you. This car is at home in an antique show, or a street rod show, but the most fun is driving down the highway.
