1940 Chevy Special Deluxe Coupe in absolutely exceptional condition. The exterior is finished in the factory-applied green paint with some very small touch ups. Otherwise, the body is completely straight, with sparkling chrome bumpers, all original wheels, and beautiful white wall tires with 90% of their tread. Power is provided by the original Inline-6 engine equipped with a new header (the original header is easily replaced and comes with sale). A “3-on-the-Tree” manual transmission brings power to the wheels in smooth working order. As expected, the undercarriage completely clean without any rust, rot, or corrosion and features a brand-new exhaust system. Inside, the front cloth seats appear to have possibly been reupholstered, with the entire cabin in exceptionally well-kept condition including the dash, headliner, carpets, and mats. All gauges, signals, and features work perfectly with 8,135 miles on the odometer believed to be original to the engine & car. Paint and exterior Paint is original and has some touch up spots.
