1953 Dodge Truck Military M37 4x4 Marine Corp. Model T-245 Miles 17,774. Straight Six Cylinder Engine. 78 BHP. 230 Cubic Inches (3.8 L). Newer carb installed. Borg & Beck Model 11828 10 in single plate dry disc Clutch. Transmission Model 88950. 4 Speed Synchro-shift in 3rd and 4th gear. Transfer Case 88845. Ration in High 1:1 Low 1.96:1. Twin lever operations, one for 4x4 oe 4x2 selection, one for hi orlop range. Axle: Dodge full floating (hypoid) ratio 5.83:1. Fuel Tank 24 gallons. Converted to 12 Volt system. Brakes: wagner hydraulic Drum. Steering Gemmer Model B-60, worm and sector type. Wheelbase 112 inch. Tire size is 9.00 x 16 military. Weight 5,687 without Snow blade. Blade is modern, Hydraulic up and down and left and right. Controls are inside the cab. Very easy to use. Set of chains for tires. I high pressured was the under carriage and it cleaned up nice. I hit the paint and a bit came off and the military pain was under it. Still in good shape. Civilian agencies us to purchase military vehicles and they would paint them . This vehicle was used for civil defense response vehicle. still has the sticker on the side. No Title, but I had sheriff do check on serial number (VIN) and it came up clean. Just never got around to getting title.
