1953 Ford Convertible Indy Pace Car Replica. Rare. Made on May 9, 1953 at the Edgewater, NJ plant, data plate #76B-SS-SS-9E337A. I bought this car in 1985 in Florida and have owned it since. Older restoration but not too bad a job. Has 239 flathead Ford-O-Matic, Coronado kit, 4 new Coker wide white tires, battery, NOS Ford gas tank and other mechanical work. Remember, Pace car replicas are worth 50% more than regular convertibles. I have been collecting 53 Ford NOS parts for over 40 years and have the exterior NOS sheet metal a large amount of trim , door latches, bumper gaurds, emblems, etc... I am looking to sell the car and parts as a lot or a collective don't want to separate. Rebuilt Fordamatic transmission and other mechanical replacements.
