1955 Ford Thunderbird This car is equipped with the 292 Y-block V8 mated to a 2 speed automatic transmission. Odometer reading 56k but title reading exempt, possibly 156k. Factory power options include - power drum brakes, power steering, power windows, locks and power seat. This car also includes factory removable hardtop, the canvas convertible top as well as a cockpit cover in case you got caught in the rain at an outdoor event. This Thunderbird was purchased by the current owner in the late 90's as a rust free Arizona car and since underwent an extensive frame off restoration 20 years ago and has been driven only 6,000 miles since. Pictures speak for themselves. Undercarriage has absolutely no rust, no scaling and no undercoating. Original motor and transmission were overhauled at the same time. Runs and drives great. Car displays itself as a very prime example of Classic Ford Engineering. All trim, chrome, and bumpers are in exceptional shape . Only flaws on the car a very small Crack in passenger side door glass. Very small crease in paint. No dent. Shape is smaller then half of a dime. It's located 2' over and 2' up from drivers door handle on the driver's side quarter panel. There is a vertical scratch about 2 1/2 up and down that has been touched up. located on the lower passenger front fender All are very minimal and hard to see from 5 feet away.
