Offered for sale is a stunning, 1961 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible that turns heads everywhere it goes in a unique color combination. This 61 Corvette features a period correct, non-numbers matching, 283CI/V8 paired with a 4-Speed Manual Transmission that performs excellent, starting easily and idling nicely this engine is tuned in and ready to enjoy! The body on this car is impressive, with the body lines and gaps matching up excellent. The white with burgundy cove color combination really sets this car off, meanwhile the white soft top and matching hard top give this car a completely different look. The repaint was said to of been back in the 90s and the finish still has a deep shine to it. Going around the car, the chrome work shows great with very minimal aging showing with the exception of some minor pitting on the cove chrome inserts. The wide whitewall tires paired with the correct style hubcaps gives this Corvette the attention it deserves. The white convertible top is easy to operate and the overall condition of it is great minus a small tear on the passenger side; however, he removable hard top is included and the trim work/headliner etc- is all detailed and in very nice shape. Throughout the maroon vinyl interior, youll find it to be in excellent condition. The painted dash and other maroon accents really set this car off, as is the same for the gauge cluster/seating and carpeting areas as can be seen in the photographs. We believe the paint on the insides of the doors/door jams is original however well let you be the judge. The windows all operate correctly, and the gauges seem to be all working properly. Throughout the engine bay youll find it to be detailed nicely with an upgraded set of Edelbrock valve covers and chrome air cleaner installed on the car. The trunk area as can be seen in the photos, is what youd want to see when looking at a classic Corvette. For not being a frame off restored car, the underside of this C1 presents itself nicely as can be seen from the photos and was undercoated with the previous owner back when the car was repainted in the 90s. As car be seen in the photos there are some minor windshield wiper scratches on the windshield as well as a small chip. Mileage on PA title is exempt due to age as is common. Again, this is one of the better running and performing C1s weve had and we believe youll think the same.
