Anti-Spin Rear A Beautifully restored 25,800 actual mile Olds Starfire in Excellent condition. Shown here in its original color of Garnet Mist (Burgundy). Paint is in excellent condition as well as the stainless 6' trim that surrounds the body on all sides. The condition of this trim is extremely rare on these cars. New Kits run in the thousands of dollars if you could find them at all. Chrome bumpers are perfect. It retains its original 25800 mile 394ci Rocket engine with 345hp, a 3-speed automatic transmission and RWD with Anti-Spin which is Oldsmobiles version of Limited Slip Differential or Posi-Rear. Factory Dual Glass- Pac mufflers make this car rumble with a deep growl. These Classic BIG Oldsmobiles start, run and drive like no other. This car is exactly that. It starts instantly, idles and drives perfectly and is steady as a rock. Options include colored speedometer which changes depending on your speed, p/window, p/brakes, p/steering, p/seat (drivers side) and center console with tach & limiter, All work as intended. Front and rear Floor Mats are Amazing (please take a look!), rear fender skirts, clock and original radio (The radio is currently not working but the power Antenna does work). Heating works as it should. No Air Conditioning! This car has never been in an accident. All chrome, trim, body panels and ALL glass are original. The interior is 100% original including the true leather seating. There is some slight cracking on the seats but no tears. This is an amazing car but did not come cheap. A Starfire in 1962 cost between $4500-$5000. This was the most expensive Oldsmobile in '62. The Starfire only made a convertible in 1961. The Hardtop Coupe was added in 1962 which was a huge success for Oldsmobile. A 4-door Starfire did not exist. You are looking at an absolutely beautiful Starfire here. NO Disappointments!!!
