1963 Ford Thunderbird Roadster Convertible, 390 Big Block V8 Engine with 4 Barrel Carburetor, Automatic Transmission, Bucket Seats with storage center console, another 3-year run after the “Squarebird’s” three-year was the completely restyled “Bullet Bird” from 1961 to 1963. Featuring an even bigger engine with Dearborn’s FE V8 enlarged to 390 cubic inches in ’61. A Thunderbird convertible paced the Indianapolis 500 in 1961 and two new models debuted the following year. With walnut interior highlights and an amazing ribbed stainless steel dash panel that merged with matching stainless trim on the door panels. The famous Sports Roadster, with the 2-seater cockpit style interior was appeased by covering the backseat with a streamlined tonneau cover. She sits on Dazzling Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels.
