1965 Pontiac GTO – Frame-Off Restoration started This 1965 Pontiac GTO is a true American muscle icon, undergoing a complete frame-off restoration with no expense spared. Built for both performance and show, this GTO blends period-correct style with modern upgrades that enhance handling, braking, and reliability. Under the hood sits a rebuilt Pontiac engine producing 500 horsepower, delivering the raw power that made the GTO legendary. Exhaust flows through stainless steel Doug’s headers, giving it an aggressive tone and improved performance. Power is sent to a new Yukon rear-end with new axles for strength and dependability. The suspension and chassis have been completely upgraded, featuring UMI rear control arms, tubular front A-arms, and QA1 coilovers for precision handling and a smooth, controlled ride. Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners. Inside, the GTO features newly upholstered seats with the Pontiac emblem, offering a factory-correct look with fresh comfort. A close-ratio steering box provides quick response and a more connected driving experience. All major components have been addressed, and the car comes with many additional parts, including everything needed to complete the build.
