1966 Ford f100 This southern truck has been through a comprehensive frame-off restoration. Of course that involved extensive exterior, interior, and mechanical work. But it also included a number of upgrades such as a fat man independent front suspension , nine inch rear end , 4 wheel disc brakes and a 408 ci engine with c4 trans. This is definitely not your average old pickup. To begin, this project started with a truck that was clean and dry throughout. It still retains all its original sheetmetal. After being stripped down and prepped, the body was professionally painted a brilliant copper metallic from tip to tail along with new chrome, trim, and emblems throughout. as well as aluminum Torque Thrust wheels that look absolutely perfect with the rest of the truck. the interior of this truck has been completely customized and upholstered in a light caramel colored leather with custom headliner and door panels. the original dash has been leather wrapped and the gauges are mounted in a custom chrome bezel. this truck has power windows with custom switches that utilize a window crank for the control. but you wont need to roll the windows down as this truck has ice cold a/c . The collector truck market has a lot to offer, but this one still stands out. To be sure, it is a quality build with a great look and sound along with lots of nice parts. But what really stands out is how the finished product works so well. It offers a remarkable ride with much improved performance over stock along with great street manners.
