This 1968 Dodge Charger is powered by a replacement 383ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission, and service since 2019 included overhauling the front disc and rear drum brakes, installing a Holley carburetor, Doug’s headers, and an aluminum radiator, and replacing the rear axles, third member, and ring-and-pinion gears. The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in green vinyl and are joined by woodgrain trim on the center console. A factory-style AM radio remains mounted on the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 61k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under previous ownership. The replacement 383ci V8 was installed under prior ownership, and it is equipped with a replacement Holley carburetor. Doug’s headers flow to a dual exhaust system with an X-pipe, and the starter, battery hold-down, and PCV valve were replaced in October 2019. An aluminum radiator and a Napa battery were installed in 2022. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The third member, rear axles, and axle bearings were replaced in early 2020 with units provided by Dr. Diff, at which point a set of 3.55:1 ring-and-pinion gears was installed.
