Mopar’s very Intriguing Body Style was introduced in 1969 Dodge Daytona to combat with Ford’s Talladega’s and Mercury Cyclone Spoilers in NASCAR Competition. Replaced by 1970 Superbird, NASCAR now required Plymouth to build at least One for every Two Dealership’s in the country a total of 1,935 were made.
