Offered for sale is a restored, 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible with a period correct, 350CI/200HP engine, a 4-Speed Manual Transmission with factory power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel and only 56K miles! According to the C3 Registry, this car was produced on May 12th 1972 where it was then sold by Yenko Chevrolet near Pittsburgh, PA. This Corvette underwent a quality restoration and is ready to take out to the shows or just a nice drive in the countryside. According to a previous owner who owned the restoration shop, this car was always in the Pittsburgh area and sat in storage from 1992 until about 2013.This 72 Corvette still retains its original Mille Miglia Red (973) /Black color combination (400) along with a lot of factory options. The period correct/non-original 350CI/200HP Engine paired with a 4-Speed Manual Transmission runs and performs excellent all while giving you that classic Corvette sound which is enhanced by a Magnaflow exhaust system! The transmission was just rebuilt and is ready to enjoy! Throughout the black interior youll find it to be in excellent restored condition with all the gauges functions properly, lights working and carpeting/seating area all showing great. The previous owner installed a Custom Auto Sound stereo system that looks original but with modern conveniences. Drivability goes a long way, and this Corvette is fun to drive. With power steering, power brakes, and a tilt wheel youll find yourself driving this car with ease. Around the Mille Miglia Red exterior youll find all the body lines to flow nicely, the chrome to be in excellent condition and the paint having a deep shine likewise the convertible to along with its mechanisms all in like-new restored condition. When you open the hood, youll find a presentable, detailed engine bay that shows as it should. As you can see from the photos, the underside of this car is in excellent condition and a professional did the restoration work. The gentleman whose shop completed the restoration also said that they sandblasted and undercoated the frame and said that it was a very solid frame and bird cage.
