1974 Alfa Romeo GTV restoration has begun but I am unable to finish it. First pic is of it's glory days, and the following pics are current condition. (paint faded, usual rust on lower body panels. Upper body is in very good condition with a small minor dent on front right fender by the headlight. The interior photos show yellow colors over the red, this is just the insulation from the carpet. The front left and right floor need replacing, $350 each side at most, and the rear right under the seat also. The rest of the floor is in good shape without rust. There is also surface rust around the front windshield, this is only on the surface and did not rust through. Engine, trans are in good running condition and complete but have been removed for the restoration. The interior is original and has also been removed for restoration but is included. All GLASS and CHROME are in very good condition. Door handles, window trims, rear quarter pop out windows, etc. Everything functions on the car properly. (gauges, handles, windows locks etc.) I have purchased new side sills and a few other parts that would be used for the body restoration. After paint and body, the engine and trans can go back in with new hoses and if desired, the front and rear seats can also be reupholstered, new carpet and door panels are pretty inexpensive and common for these models. Original color Rosso Red exterior with black interior. Car was a daily driver and then parked for about 15 years. I began disassembly a few months ago but I unfortunately I do not have the finances to continue the project and do not want to leave it sitting around. After restoration this car would easily be worth anywhere from $45,000 - $65,000. Clean California title in hand.
