1976 Camaro RS (split bumper front end) I’ve owned the car roughly 2-3 years, was used primarily as a weekend warrior, and was daily driven a couple weeks straight here and there. I acquired the car from a man who brought the car back to life after sitting for 20-30 years, in a good friends driveway. He installed tons of new parts and hardware, Such as -shocks -coils -air bags to lift and lower car (manually which means with an air compressor or pump) -gas tank - fuel lines - hood hinges - split bumper front end - Flowmaster cat back exhaust (not that loud but still nice) - after market radio with 3 speakers I believe - carpet -all hoses/belts - distributer/plugs/wires - front break rotors and discs - rear drum pads and springs I’m sure there’s things I’m missing but you get the picture. I wouldn’t say the car was built from the ground up but he did a nice refresh. I really only have done preventative maintenance on this so far oil changes every 6/air filter/greasing. The car runs very well, never gets hot even in the Ojai summer, it will start up every morning without an issue. Runs and drives good, suspension is good not too many creaks and rattles. Shifts just fine, never had any problem slipping out of gear or loss of power in gear. Also, doesn’t really leak oil which is pretty sweet considering anything this old usually does a little bit Car passes smog with no issue ( just got it done as well as current tags) Cons -Speedo doesn’t work so odometer is stuck at 42000 ( never bothered to check it out) -Voltage gauge is in-op (same reasoning as speedo) - passenger door is misaligned still shuts fine just sticks out a little on bottom half -paint is very decent painted with single stage paint but didn’t seem to use enough coats on hood, roof and trunk lid as seen in photos - drivers sun visor is not installed - radio only plays out of one speaker which is the one under the dash so music can never get that loudTrim: RSBody Style: CoupeDoors: 2Fuel Type: Gas
