1976 TRIUMPH TR6 - Numbers matching with 71k original miles - Rebuilt Head. I have owned, serviced, and restored British sports cars for 50 years. I drove an MGA, TR3, Spitfire, and GT6 to high school in the early ‘70s. I restored a ’54 MGTF ground up, own an Austin-Healey 3000, and have refurbished dozens of British cars including MGB, MGTC, and MGTD. I know these cars as well as anyone and can attest that this 1976 Triumph TR6 is one of the nicest I have seen, owned, serviced, or driven. An excellent example of the highly desirable British mark. Original 2.5L straight 6 cylinder engine with 71k original miles and 4 speed manual transmission. The head has been rebuilt with new valves, springs and hardened seats. The car is finished in original Russet Brown exterior and complimented with an excellent tan interior. New carpet, seat covers, seat slides. New dash pad and teak dash. BLUETOOTH Audio (yes, BLUETOOTH). HEATED Seats (Yes, heated seats) Mechanically, the car is the most refurbished TR6 I have seen. Below are just some of the mechanical improvements/upgrades: - Rebuilt engine head with new valves, springs and hardened seats - New Clutch and bearing - New Radiator and Hoses - Rebuilt Carburetors / New Air Filters - Fully rebuilt front suspension – bushings, sway bar, front shocks. - Rebuilt rear hubs and U-joints - Rebuilt OEM Master brake and clutch cylinders - Dual Monza Exhaust – This car sounds awesome! Good matching tires mounted on correct Triumph wheels with original aluminum beauty rings (These original rings are rare and unavailable.) NEW CONVERTIBLE TOP with perfect clear windows and zip out rear window. New boot (convertible) cover and new full tonneau.
