Here is a great example of a 1979 Dodge Lil Res Express pickup. Built on a standard Dodge Adventurer 150 step-side body. While many of these trucks were driven hard, this one remains in highly original condition. The Lil Red Express was factory equipped with a special high-performance 360 CI V-8 engine featuring an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, tube-fed air cleaner and chrome accessories. Hemi-style mufflers feed tall vertical chrome exhaust stacks mounted behind the cab, and a special A727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission installed behind the engine and the driveline is completed by a 3.55-ratio Sure Grip differential.
