1979 Porsche 911 SC second owner. This car has the Martini Rossi race team stripes and was purchased from the original owner approximately 18 years ago and has been driven less than 100 miles since. The car was driven to its current location and has been continuously parked in a garage since. The engine leaks some oil and burns some oil and would need to be rebuilt. The engine was not started for almost 10 years. The old fuel has been drained and replaced with a couple gallons of fresh fuel. The fuel system will need to be cleaned to run smoothly, however the engine starts if starting fluid (ether) is sprayed onto the air filter. The engine oil and filter have been replaced in the last month. The battery is new, and all four brake calipers are new. The original calipers will transfer with the car. The Targa top has some tears in it, the seats need to be re-upholstered, and various interior panels will need to be re-upholstered. This is a solid car but should be considered a restoration project, due to its age, engine oil consumption and interior condition. There is a small dent on the driver side front fender, but otherwise the car is solid and almost rust-free.
