1979 Volkswagen Convertable, well taken care of by a lady that was the third owner and she had it for 13 years. Paint was done 3 years ago and looks great, real shine, very nice top, new radial with white walls and makes the car ride super, tires have less than 100 miles, but the big item is the brand new 1600 Scat motor, Scat is one of the best builders out there! Motor has about 3500 miles, new carb, distributor, new gas tank. Interior is original and very nice with great seat covers, door panels, dash pad looks nice with no cracks or marks. The top is great with no wear to it, no rips or holes! The car was bought new in Georgia, then went to Tenn. and that’s when she got it, so it’s always been a southern car with no rust! When it was new it had Air Condition added and it’s all there, but I was told that it worked but need charged! This is very unusual for a Convertable. Also another item was the AM- FM radio. 3 years ago the bug was pulled apart and had a complete paint job, very nice and has a great shine! No marks, dents or heavy scratches! This is a great beetle and draws a crowd when ever you park it somewhere.
