1980 Mercedes Benz 450SL convertible The car was finished from the factory in Brilliant Red (525) and recently received a professional repaint . Features include a color-matched removable hardtop, a black convertible soft top, fog lights, a power antenna, and chrome-accented bumpers and trim. Engine work recently completed includes new injectors, plugs, oil and fuel filters, rebuilt fuel distributor and warm up regulator. Car runs extremely well with a solid suspension and power assisted steering system. Silver-finished 14″ Bundt alloy wheels are mounted with 195/70/14 brand new tires. This 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SL is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in red over black leather. Features include a limited-slip differential, a black soft top, a body-color removable hardtop, 14″ Bundt alloy wheels. The car was factory-equipped with power steering and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a tachometer with a 5,800-rpm redline and an inset analog clock as well as a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 72k original miles. The front left fender was damaged and resulted in a salvage title when it was in a tow yard. Fender has been replaced and entire vehicle repainted.
