1987 Buick Regal Grand National WE2 CF5 ASTRO ROOF! 1987 Buick Regal Grand National, 3.8 Liter Turbo V6 Engine. The Iconic Buick Muscle Car of the 80's! This GN is a very Original Unmolested car... It still retains its Matching numbers Motor, Transmission, and Rear end. Very well Optioned car with Rare CF5 Astro Roof, Power Windows, Door Locks, Seat, G80 Posi Rear and More... Production Build Date of 12/86 date. Exterior This is a RUST FREE Colorado Car. However the Black Lacquer shows its age with the clear coat peeling and multiple other paint issues. Enjoy as a Survivor or repaint as desired. What you see is what you get. It has a fairly straight and solid rust free body.. Nothing covered up and hidden. Bumper Fillers are not all cracked up and missing typical of the 80's cars. Floors, Trunk, and Roof areas are very Solid. Astro Roof Opens and Closes. Interior Original Black and Gray GN interior that shows typical wear for its age and miles with a very minor tear in the drivers seat and headliner falling. The Dash is in great shape. Car was an original Concert Sound Car but has a Sony head unit now. Has aftermarket Knock and Water Temperature gages in the front console as well as Boost and Oil Pressure Pillar mounted gages to monitor all the vitals. Mechanical Current Odometer reading shows 78,354 and believed to be original. The original matching #'s 3.8 Turbo V6 runs Great however there is a noise in the front of the motor when it gets warmed up that has not been clearly identified. The Original BRF Transmission shifts as it should and has an aftermarket torque converter. Brakes have been converted to Vacuum and work great. Tires are stock size 215/65/15 with lots of tread. A few tasteful upgrades have been done such as a Stainless Steel Down Pipe with Pypes Exhaust system, 30# Injectors, Fuel Pump Hotwire Kit, and Turbo Turbo Tweak Performance Chip. With the Buick Regal Turbo Market getting out of reach for some this is an Affordable way to become an Elite member of the Grand National Family. This should be considered a Project Car for most as it needs TLC/Restoration attention in all areas as well as the engine noise. However if your looking for an Amazing Foundation to get your self into the Turbo Buick Game then this one is for You!
