1988 Humvee project. This is NOT a Hummer H1 Alpha, it's military Humvee. Has maroon bed liner paint job and an LS swap. Thew the POS diesel motor in the garage and put a 2014 GMC 2500 drivetrain in it. Now runs, accelerates, and drives like a modern day SUV. Runs on 37' tires on 20' rims. Has a sound bar stereo with 12' subwoofer. Absolute blast to drive especially with the 6.0 LS motor, 6L90 transmission and transfer case. Call it a project cause it's not completely done, just ran out of steam. The interior is taken apart and will need to be finished. The hard top will need to be painted, I have the paint/bed liner. The air-conditioning neets to be hooked up, have the compressor on the motor and unit in the truck. The power steering box leaks, have a rebuild on, just needs to be swapped out.
