1988 TVR S1 CONVERTIBLE. I RECENTLY IMPORTED THIS VEHICLE FROM NORTHERN ENGLAND AND HAVE BEEN IMPRESSED BY THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THIS VERY AFFORDABLE CLASSIC BRITISH SPORTS CAR. BUILT ON A TUBE CHASSIS THE 4 WHEEL INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION 4 WHEEL DISC BRAKE CAR HAS A VERY SPIRITED DRIVE WITH A FORD 3.0 V6 ENGINE AND TYPE 9 5 SPEED OVERDRIVE GEARBOX. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN FULLY RESTORED BUT WELL MAINTAINED. IT HAS HAD A REPAINT IN LIGHT METALLIC BLUE FROM IT'S ORIGINAL WHITE COLOR. THE CAR CAN BE ENJOYED IN IT'S CURRENT CONDITION BUT A REPAINT TO A HIGHER LEVEL OF QUALITY WOULD BE STUNNING. THE INTERIOR I WOULD GIVE IT A 7 OUT OF 10 BUT A LITTLE FOAM WORK ON FRONT SEAT WOULD MAKE A HUGE IMPROVEMENT. THE RARITY OF THIS CAR DOES SUPPORT THE ADDITION MONEY BEING SPENT.
