Description
1977 MG MGB that has sat in a climate controlled storage facility since it was partially restored. It was completely repainted a few yrs ago. The clearcoat was wet sanded and buffed to a mirror shine and ceramic coated.
No swirls or left over sand scratches. The paint is near flawless! The engine was completely overhauled with new seals and gaskets along with a new clutch kit 3 yrs ago. And runs like a top! I've driven this on many occasions over 3hrs away and it's never given me an issue! The interior is as good as it gets for being all original and being 47 yrs old! Yes, there are aftermarket wheels and new tires on it.
At the time, I wasn't planning on selling it. But that's what the car comes with. The stripe is vinyl and can be removed. Although it isn't 100% original... This car needs nothing done to it. condition: excellent cylinders: 4 cylinders drive: rwd fuel: gas odometer: 23967 paint color: red title status: clean transmission: manual type: convertible Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our clients home and Not In Cadillac, Michigan. **We do have a showroom with about 25 cars that is by appointment only **Please Call First and talk to one of our reps at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 **

Classic MG MGB Buyer's Guide (1962–1980)
I came to the MGB through the back door — as a Datsun person who kept borrowing a friend's roadster for weekend runs up the coast. What struck me wasn't the horsepower (there isn't much) but the engineering integrity: a proper monocoque structure, all-synchromesh gearbox, independent front suspension, and a remarkably well-sorted chassis for a car designed in 1960. More than half a million MGBs were sold over eighteen years, which means parts availability is exceptional and the community is enormous. It also means the market is flooded with cars that have been poorly maintained, badly restored, or modified in ways that hurt both performance and value. Buying right requires knowing exactly what to look for.
