Very Reliable   This Is One Of A Kind, Highly Modified And Altered Downs Body. Mods Include Narrowing The Doors And Fabricating A Rocker Panel Joining The Quarter Panels And Cowl (Not Found On Other Bodies). Radiused And Smoothed Door Openings. Body Upper Panels Were Raised Creating A Straight Belt Line/top Seam. Stainless Trim On The Body Tops To Prevent Chaffing Of Roof On Painted Surfaces. A Downs Phantom Coupe Front End Was Used (Pinched Down About 2") That Gives The Car A Natural "Raked" Look Without Jacking Up The Rear End Of The Car. Forward Tilting Hood, Sculptured And Curved Windshield Frame. The Modified Hardtop That Was Shortened For No Overhang Over Windshield And Leaned Forward At Backglass For A Smoother Flow Of The Body Line. German Hartz Top Fabric Covers The Hardtop And Is Nicely Trimmed With Hidden Hardware To Secure Top To Body.   This Car Was Built As A Very Drivable Show Car. It Has 1,200+ Miles On It And Runs And Rides Great. There's Lots Of Head And Leg Room And No Rock Chips Or Scratches. This Car Gets A Lot Of Attention And Is A Consistent Award Winner.
